An intermediate-level study of a topic of special interest in music including but not limited to music theory, composition, improvisation, arranging, history, and/or performance. Topics generally involve new, current, or evolving issues; or those that require treatment within a specialized area. Course may be repeated with different topics of study. Variable credits 1-3

Prerequisites: Sophomore standing, music major/minor, or permission of instructor.
