ECON 0211 - Your Place in the Labor Market Credits: 3
Students will first learn about the basic labor market with its labor supply and labor demand curves. After a basic understanding of this economic model, students will be introduced to labor market indicators; they will explore various data sources, and research current, real world labor market issues, but also the traditional real world labor frictions caused by minimum wage laws, unions, contracts, and regulations.
Prerequisites: At least one of the following: First Year Journey course or ENGL 0101
